Service Description

Valkyrie Aerial Acrobatics’ comprehensive 100-hour Teacher Training program is designed to equip aspiring and experienced coaches with the knowledge and skills necessary to teach aerial acrobatics safely and effectively. This course covers foundational instruction across five popular aerial apparatuses: Hammock, Silks, Harness, Trapeze, and Lyra. Participants will learn proper spotting techniques, progressional curriculum design, and skill breakdowns to ensure safe and effective student development. The program also integrates functional anatomy and its application to aerial training, helping coaches understand body mechanics, injury prevention, and strength development. This training is ideal for those looking to expand their expertise, refine their coaching methods, and build a strong foundation in aerial instruction. Whether you are new to teaching or looking to elevate your current coaching practice, this course provides the tools necessary to guide students through their aerial journey with confidence and safety.

Cancellation Policy

Valkyrie Aerial Acrobatics 100-Hour Teacher Training Program Policy 1. Attendance & Participation Participants must attend all scheduled training sessions. Missed sessions require instructor-approved make-up at an additional cost. Unapproved absences may result in dismissal without refund. 2. Completion Requirements All coursework and projects must be submitted on time. A certificate of completion is only granted to those meeting all requirements. Failure to demonstrate proficiency may result in non-certification. 3. No Guarantee of Employment Completion of training does not guarantee employment with Valkyrie Aerial Acrobatics. Hiring is based on alignment with studio needs and instructional style. 4. No Refund Policy Training fees are non-refundable. Participants unable to complete training for any reason will not receive a refund. In extenuating circumstances, deferment to a future session may be considered at the studio’s discretion. 5. Program Timeline & Expulsion Training must be completed within three (3) months. Participants failing to meet this deadline may be expelled without refund. 6. Insurance & Liability Participants must purchase and maintain professional aerial instructor liability insurance before teaching. Valkyrie Aerial Acrobatics is not responsible for injuries sustained during training or independent instruction. 7. Safety & Conduct Participants must adhere to all safety protocols and responsible spotting techniques. Any behavior compromising safety, professionalism, or studio integrity may result in immediate dismissal without refund. 8. Intellectual Property & Confidentiality All training materials, curriculum, and methodologies are proprietary and may not be copied, distributed, or used for personal business ventures without written permission. Participants agree not to share or teach Valkyrie Aerial Acrobatics materials outside of authorized settings. By enrolling, participants acknowledge and agree to these policies in full.

Aerial Acrobatic Studio Membership Cancellation Policy

 

We understand that circumstances may arise which require you to cancel your membership at the Valkyrie Aerial Acrobatic Studio. We value your commitment to our community and aim to make the cancellation process as clear and fair as possible. Please take a moment to review our membership cancellation policy outlined below:

 

48-Hour Non-Refundable Cancellation Window:

For any cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled class or session, the fees paid will be non-refundable. This includes both single-session bookings and multiple-session packages. In case of unforeseen emergencies or extenuating circumstances, we encourage you to reach out to our studio management as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your situation within reason.

 

Recurring Payment Options:

a. Monthly Memberships: If you have a recurring monthly membership, you may cancel it at any time with a minimum of 30 days' notice before your next scheduled payment date. To initiate the cancellation process, please send an email to [studio email address] with your full name, membership details, and the effective date of cancellation. Your membership will remain active until the end of the 30-day notice period.

b. Annual Memberships: Annual memberships cannot be canceled before the end of the contract term. If you choose to cancel your annual membership upon its expiration, please send an email to BlueRidgeAerialDance@gmail.com at least 30 days prior to the renewal date. The membership will not be renewed for the subsequent year.

 

Membership Freeze Option:

If you require a temporary break from your membership due to medical reasons or other valid circumstances, you may request a membership freeze. Please send an email to BlueRidgeAerialDance@gmail.com  with your full name, membership details, and the desired freeze period. We will assess your request and provide you with options for freezing your membership for a specific duration, during which time your recurring payments will be suspended. A membership freeze must be requested at least 15 days in advance.

 

Appeals and Special Circumstances:

We understand that there may be unique situations not covered by this policy. If you believe you have exceptional circumstances that warrant a deviation from our standard cancellation policy, please contact our studio management at BlueRidgeAerialdance@gmail.com. We will review your situation on a case-by-case basis and do our best to find a suitable resolution.
